"Not every African woman has a pile of wood on her head and a baby strapped to her back!" Abudu, 48, mentioned in a press interview. "We watch Hollywood as if all of America is Hollywood," she said. "In that same vein we need to start selling the good bits of Africa." The network will show case original programming such as 'Sistaz!', a talk show with singers Tiwa and Banky W and Love Lounge with radio personality Oreka Gordis.

Abudu was born in England, lived in Nigeria as a young child but returned to England at the age of 12 until she got married at 28. She became a self made talk show host after she resigned her oil company job and now, the rest is history.
